The Bluefin VX2100/PD170 housing gives you access to all the controls a professional would want for shooting underwater video. You get white balance control, aperture and shutter control, and two neutral density filters. Many other controls are offered through the two "smart grips" that utilize infrared transmission into the housing eliminating physical penetrations into the shell. The grip controls also eliminate shake in your video because they are at your finger tips, no lifting one hand to reach for manual controls that have to be placed where the buttons are located on the camera. That control coupled with a three CCD camcorder and Mini DV or DVCAM format for the PD170, and you have broadcast quality video ready for your next production!
The housing also offers a bluewater "flip" filter that can be used in shallower depths when you want a shot without video lights. All seals are double O-ring protected and the housing comes with a four element 80 degree lens port.
