The W50° filter for the Inon LE series LED flashlight is an optical grade acrylic fly-eye lens carrying high transmittance. The fly-eye lens consists of many of small lenses as like compound multifaceted eyes of insects and diffuses light source to illuminate a subject evenly. The advantage of the fly-eye lens over general translucent diffuser panel for a lighting, is the high diffusional efficiency to widen beam coverage with less attenuation.
The W50° Filter has two laminated fly-eye lenses with hollow construction to effectively diffuse light even underwater.
