Description

There are over four ways for you to adjust the power output of this strobe! STTL, External Auto, Full Manual, and Full Power. Here is a brief description of those controls as well as a few other things we love about the D-2000.

Universal STTL
Made for the true ìpoint and shooterî the Inon D-2000 uses a fiber optic cable to read your cameras metered pre-flash. The D-2000 is then capable of very accurate STTL exposures. You can also adjust between full power STTL and Low. The low setting is there just in case you need a little less light than what STTL is giving you. The D-2000 is able to do this with most cameras from almost all manufacturers.

External Auto
For cameras that donít have a pre-flash just set the Inon D-2000ís aperture to match your camera and fire away! If you want to fine tune your exposure there are 24 stops of control for you to add or subtract light.

Full Manual
For the budding pros who want complete control over the creative process you can set the Inon D-2000 to full manual. There are 13 steps of manual control to add or reduce flash brightness. This is the most manual settings of any strobe!

Twin Flash Tubes
Creating a larger flash area, the Twin T configured flash tubes give you a 100 degree circular light beam! Most strobes have an elliptical shape to their beams forcing you to fit your subject into an oblong shape. The circular shape allows easier judgment for subject composition.

IMPORTANT BATTERY NOTE:
Type 3 strobes from Inon should only be powered with Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries. Other rechargeable battery types will create excessive heat and may damage the strobe. The Sanyo Eneloop batteries are compatible with the Olympus AA Battery Charger. This Olympus battery charger has proven to be the most reliable travel charger we have tested. It is bundled with NiMh batteries, but do not use these batteries with Inon type 3 strobes.
